Royal Ordinance Vehicle Intercommunication System (ROVIS)

ffcs-3d

Cobham Defence Communications is a world leader in platform communications and the sole designer of the most successful modern vehicle intercom systems in the world, the ROVIS (AN/VIC-3) and the LV2 intercom.

ROVIS (AN/VIC-3) is designed for heavy and medium armor, and is the primary system for Command and Control in the US force’s Abrams Tank and Bradley Armored Fighting Vehicle. CDC’s has an unrivaled reputation for producing rugged, modular systems that combine ease of use with a high level of reliability and availability. ROVIS is combat-proven to improve efficiency, mission success and reduce battle fatigue.

Our success is based on knowing our customers’ needs and requirements and tailoring our cost-effective solution to fit their specific platform configurations and operational requirements.

The “family concept of design” adopted by Cobham Defence Communications allows direct interoperability between modules in the ROVIS and LV2 series of equipments. This “mix and match” functionality allows for a more tailored fit to platforms, which reduces the capital costs of alternative ‘One fit for all’ systems.
