Networked Communications (MVoIP)

The introduction of the new TacG2 to compliment the ROVIS AN/VIC-3 and LV2 product range allows multiple Platforms (nodes) to be interconnected over secured IP. Nodes can not only access other users, via their intercoms, but also share radio assets across the system.

The capability to interface TacG2 to IP (VoIP) or PSTN systems greatly enhances the functionality available to users. Our digital systems seamlessly transfer the data streams without any the loss of quality between platforms.

Networking infrastructure is an IP (Internet Protocol) system using the latest commercial technology which is then packaged to provide a rugged, expandable and flexible system. Audio transmission across the network uses VoIP (Voice over IP), which allows access to platforms connected to the TacG2 system.
