Marine VIS
ROVIS LV2 Modules are available in full marine versions to operate aboard small boats and assault craft that may be open to salt water elements.
ROVIS LV2:
- Each crew station supports two crew members.
- The master control Station supports two external radios.
- Up to six radios can be connected to the system.
- Up to eight crew members can be connected to the system.
- VOX operation for ease of use.
- Ring cable connection for battle damage resilience.
- All interfaces identical to ROVIS.
- Two independent intercom channels.
- The same high reliability, availability and battle damage resilience as ROVIS (AN/VIC-3).
- Family of common modules interchangeable with ROVIS (AN/VIC-3) including wireless connection to leading makes of infantry assault radios.
Master Control Station Light (MCS/L) provides the same power supply protection and intercom operation functionality as the ROVIS MCS, less the programming capability, in a small, FFCS size footprint.
Full Function Crew Station Light (FFCS/L) provides similar functionality to the FFCS with a dual as opposed to single user capability.
Full Function Crew Station Wireless (FFCS/W) provides the same functionality as the FFCS with the addition of an embedded circuit from an Infantry Assault Radio to provide fully integrated communications in and out of the platform.
Radio Interface Terminal (RIT) enables an additional two radios to be added to the system.
