Platform C41 Systems
The BattleHawk Vehicle System (BHVS) is a vehicle-based Combat Management System using the BattleHawk software program. BHVS relays Situational Awareness (SA) to the operator and interfaces directly with vehicle radio(s), GPS and sensors to provide the crew with enhanced situational awareness and improved combat efficiency.
The BHVS System comprises of the following key elements:
Unit Display Terminal (UDT)
The UDT is a compact display terminal that allows the user to enter data via touch screen. Messaging and Navigation functionality occurs through single-push menu buttons situated around the main display. With a virtual keyboard and touch screen symbol selection, messages and information can be passed over the CMS without complex procedures.
The UDT has a transflective, daylight readable 8.4 inch LCD panel. The 8-wire resistive touch screen is constructed of hardened glass and is EMC shielded.

Battlefield Processor Unit (BPU)
The BPU is a rugged computing device with no fan designed to be powered from the vehicle power supply and fit into a standard radio rack. It operates Windows XP embedded/Vista running the BattleHawk C2 software. The BPU Connects to external devices via Mil-C-26482 connectors.

The BattleHawk Platform Interface Unit (PIU)
The PIU provides a power switch, secure erase switch, Serial and USB device input. BIT indication is available by a momentary action pushbutton switch, activating four BIT indicators. The PIU can also house a Military or Civilian GPS module, if not already included on the platform.

The BHVS can be configured in a dismounted role to provide a portable CMS at Command Post Level.
