CAD/CAM etc
Sivers uses CAD/CAM software in the machine shop. CAD data is transferred to the CAM Station and converted to CNC machine software. The software is then transferred, via Local Area Network, to our machine shop’s two-axis, three-axis and four-axis och milling machines.
Electrical & Environmental Testing
Machining
Sivers’ machine shop contains numerically controlled machines as well as conventional machines. The machine shop mainly produces experimental prototypes as well as test jigs and fixtures for the production process. The machine shop also works very closely with the engineering department for quick turnaround programs.
Assembly
Sivers’ machine shop handles final assembly of single channel rotary joints to very complex multi channel rotary joints with slip rings and integrated inductosyns. The same person follows the product all the way through final tuning, assembly, production testing and verification.
