In addition, Nurad has the support of a large and well-established parent company, Cobham plc. Nurad has proven expertise in design and production of antennas offering performance optimized for bandwidth, efficiency, radiation pattern, power handling, size, weight and cost. Our antenna product portfolio includes high power broadband horns, reflector antennas, broadband spirals, log periodics, blade antennas and various conformal antennas. These antennas result from more than 38 years of successful Nurad development activities as well as integration of proven product lines from sources such as Transco, Premier Microwave and Litton-Airtron.
Approximately two-thirds of Nurad's 75,000 square foot facility is devoted to manufacturing. This ISO-9001-2000 approved facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art machining, radome and composite processing and assembly equipment. Specific capabilities include Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) milling machines, autoclaves and comprehensive paint and finishing facilities.
