Atlantic Microwave offers a fully staffed Engineering and Design department that supports Atlantic’s standard products and our customers' unique requirements.
Design & Development
Atlantic Microwave can provide the ISO9001:2000 certified Engineering support you need to meet your program goals. Our Engineering staff consists of electrical and mechanical engineers, engineering technicians, drafting and documentation specialists and program managers. Our staff is supported by state-of-the-art tools for modeling (both computer generated and complete machine shop support), drafting (2-D and 3-D CAD), testing (electrical and environmental) and documentation of our product and system designs.

Manufacturing
Atlantic Microwave's extensive manufacturing capabilities are the perfect complement to our engineering expertise. Atlantic Microwave’s in-house capabilities start in our completely equipped machine shop. Strict adherence to quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process by utilizing our own Assembly, Test, Paint, and QA capabilities. Our assembly and test operations are organized as cells to enhance quality and reduce throughput time and are re-configurable to accommodate the ever-changing requirements of our customers.
Specialty operations, such as brazing and plating are performed by carefully selected service providers that are required to qualify through our strict Quality Assurance guidelines. Atlantic Microwave’s ISO-approved vendor selection process ensures that all outside processing is performed under strict controls and to Atlantic Microwave’s demanding requirements.
